Opening Doors on Monday Mornings

Odomm

The best work happens when you're excited to work on Monday morning.
I work at the intersection of technology, economics, commerce, payments, and operational systems. Professionally, I've spent my career building products, payments infrastructure, and platforms. Personally, I'm fascinated by how incentives, capital, technology, and human behavior shape the systems around us.

Odomm is where I share selected work, ideas, experiments, and the operating lessons behind them.

Selected Engagements

Multi-merchant commerce and payments platform

Led product, solution engineering, and payments work across a recurring commerce platform. Work included PayFac architecture, merchant onboarding, processor integrations, pricing programs, settlement logic, reporting, go-live execution, and operational controls.

Global payment hardware and partner ecosystem

Owned banking partner and terminal initiatives across multiple regions, coordinating payment hardware, APIs, certification work, onboarding flows, partner UAT, and release planning across complex systems and stakeholders.

Omni-channel gateway and onboarding infrastructure

Built product roadmaps for merchant onboarding, PCI validation, pricing, billing, due diligence workflows, configuration portals, and API-driven activation for payment and gateway products.

Financial services and digital identity programs

Developed product strategy for financial service expansion across digital and physical channels, including customer segmentation, partner alignment, card programs, digital identification, and regulated product workflows.

Risk, fraud, and transaction decisioning

Led fraud, risk, and operational decisioning work across card, transfer, and online payment environments. Focus areas included automation, monitoring, incident response, compliance, and new-market launch readiness.

Qualifications

Product, platform, and payments operator

Background spanning product management, solution engineering, payments infrastructure, operational systems, platform strategy, partner delivery, and regulated financial environments.

Education & training

  • Master’s degree in International Business
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce
  • Graduate studies completed early
  • Experience across API-first platforms, payment systems, operational workflows, and financial products

Beyond Work

62 Countries and Counting

Travel has been one of my greatest teachers. I've visited more than 62 countries, learning firsthand how culture, incentives, infrastructure, and economic systems shape the way people live, work, and build.

Importing Ethiopian Spices

Built and operated a small import business focused on bringing specialty Ethiopian products to new markets. It was an early lesson in supply chains, logistics, customer acquisition, and the realities of entrepreneurship.

Event Promotion

Before product management and payments, I organized and promoted events across multiple cities. The work involved marketing, partnerships, sponsorships, operations, sales, and bringing communities together.

Building Across Different Worlds

The common thread across travel, business, events, product, and payments has always been the same: understanding people, incentives, systems, and how ideas move from concept to reality.

Current Explorations

Cost-Based Commerce

Exploring whether businesses can create value by selling products at or near cost while monetizing through memberships, ecosystems, services, financing, or network effects.

Community Housing Finance

Researching alternatives to traditional mortgage structures, including community-funded housing models where members collectively finance home purchases through shared contribution pools.

Autonomous Ocean Logistics

Investigating low-cost, solar-powered autonomous marine systems capable of moving small cargo across long distances with minimal operating costs.

AI-Augmented Organizations

Exploring how AI agents, workflow automation, and decision systems can allow small teams to operate at the scale of much larger organizations.

Mobile Commerce Infrastructure

Building and studying ways to turn existing commerce platforms into branded mobile shopping experiences without rebuilding the underlying e-commerce stack.

Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies

Studying how technology, capital access, and operational systems can lower barriers to entrepreneurship and ownership in developing markets.

Alternative Logistics Networks

Exploring decentralized transportation systems, peer-to-peer capacity sharing, and marketplace-based movement of goods.

Self-Sustaining Businesses

Experimenting with systems, software, and automation that allow businesses to operate with minimal management overhead while maintaining customer value.
